I am an LGBTQ+ Ally and member of the Florida Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Issues in Counseling (FALGBTIC).  I believe that all people deserve to be treated with respect, compassion, and understanding.

   LGBTQ individuals and families can face some unique challenges in life. They also can face things that are very mundane and common in all relationships.  I listen to all of my clients and help them with the problems that they bring up.  Each relationship is unique.

     I not only help LGBTQ romantic relationships, but I also help with LGBTQ family relations. If you are a parent or family member struggling with an LGBTQ teen, I may be able to help. If you are an LGBT teen and are struggling with how your family is or might react, I may be able to help.

    One part of LGBTQ community that is not talked about in the media is the elderly LGBTQ population.  I understand some of the challenges elderly LGBTQ face now and have faced in their past. I know the horrors some of them had to endure growing up in the 50s, 60s, or 70s. If you have suffered trauma because of your sexuality or gender identity and want to talk to someone about it, please call me. I am sorry that you have endured horrors in the past, but you are not alone.
